Each of the drawings of encampments in this series is made with charcoal and pastel on white paper and is 18×24″. All proceeds from their sale, each at $300 unframed, is for Wesley in Hamilton Ontario, to support its outreach and supportive housing programs. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this project, including Earls Court Gallery for providing space to show the work, May 20-27 2023, and waiving the usual commission, and to those family and friends who contributed reference images, especially Human Beings of Hamilton. Many of the reference photos are my own, but I found some in newspapers and news sites, including The Hamilton Spectator, CHCH and CBC Hamilton.
