My mixed media drawings emerged in response to an invitation to participate in annual group exhibitions at the Art Gallery on New Brunswick’s Grand Manan Island. I begin with pen and ink on a panel primed with gesso, adding watercolour, soft pastel, pigment ink, charcoal and white acrylic paint, as the image develops and demands.
